SERPENTI METAMORPHOSIS — REFIK ANADOL INSTALLATION
Celebrating Serpenti’s powers of metamorphosis.
Bulgari commissioned new media artist and director Refik Anadol to celebrate the mythical snake emblem — defined by its continual transformation. Known for his groundbreaking approach, the multi-award winning artist conceived ‘Serpenti Metamorfosi’.
Using machine learning, Anadol turned 200 million images of nature into the digital artworks of this installation.
Take a look at the exhibition at the Piazza Duomo, Milan, where his work immerses visitors in infinite forms of transformation through a dynamic, three-dimensional AI data sculpture.

BVLGARI METAMORPHOSIS REFIK ANADOL — MILAN EVENT
Just as Bvlgari draws inspiration from its mythical snake emblem, Refik Anadol drew inspiration from 200 million images of nature to ignite Milan’s Piazza Duomo with a celebration of Serpenti’s mystery. Relive the journey of ‘the Serpenti Metamorfosi’ immersive experience — opened by the artist alongside Chiara Ferragni godmother of the event and Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin. And watch scenes from the special evening event held in the AI sculpture’s honor, where Bvlgari entertained celebrity guests — including Elodie, Ester Expósito and Lena Situations — at Milan’s Terrazza Duomo 21.
